I have come accross other apps that have failed due to a corrupt windows installer. Manytimes, the fix is to re-name the windows installer files (dll, etc) by using the .old extension in them. I would search MS TechSupport for references to a corrupted Installer program and see if that works. Take a look at Microsoft Knowledge Base Articles #324518 and #236597 to see if they help in any way. Although they are related to MSOffice, they could still be helpful since they deal with a corrupt installer program.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
