Registry entry?

By kashmeir63 ·
Hi,
I have a windows nt platform.
On 1 of my servers I have a questionable entry in my registry (hkeylocal machine .... Run)the name is TCASUTIEXE, data field TCAUDIAG -off...Is this some kind of a worm. Can I remove this from the registry? Any help would be appreciated.

3com drivers use that name. Do a backup of your registry first, then delete the entry and see if your NIC still works.

I have also seen that executable listed in some worm lists, but these are looking at email attachments.

That if for an AUDIO program dealing with the soundcard in the system. You can remove it, if you don't need it...
