After reinstalling my Win98 SE, Windows Update does not respond at all -says “Ready” but the screen is blank. I have heard that Win Update scans if the program is properly registered. Mine IS but the Registry entry must have been deleted. Where do Ifind it and what should be the key? I have read somewhere that it’s easy to change but I can’t find it.
