I have a machine that is a clone PIII800 running Windows98. This machine is constantly popping up a window that says “Windows has encountered an error with the registry and will be restarted”. Upon restarting the machine will run fine for a while. Ithought it was a software problem. Then ruled that out because the whole system was redone. I suspect hardware, maybe processor or memory. Already have replaced the hard drive with a new one. Any suggestions?
