Reinstall Windows XP Home on NTFS volume (without reformating)

by ben . Updated 19 years, 1 month ago

I have a laptop with a corrupted install of Windows XP home on an NTFS
volume. Does anyone know of a way to reinstall Windows XP home on
an NTFS volume with out loosing the data? When I try it tells me it can
not install on this volume and that I have to reformat the drive.
Unfortunetly there is data on the drive that I must have. Any advice/
suggestions would be greatly apprectiated.
Thank you,
Ben
