Is there a way to reinstall, or repair, Windows XP without the disc?
I read somewhere that if you run the WINNT32.EXE file that it will reinstall the operating system, however when I ran it, I got an error message saying that my OS version was newer than the one it was going to install. I assume that is because I have Service Pack 3 installed.
It then said to reboot the PC and run the install from the disc, which is what I don’t have.
Any ideas?
