remapping a hotkey sequence

By jgallihe ·
Have 8 Compaq 380s running in a rack with a central keyboard, monitor. The hotkey for going between sessions is the printscreen. Would like to produce documentation via screen snapshots <alt Printscreen>, but this won't work with the Compaq monitor/keyboard utility. How can I change the <alt-printscreen> sequence to capture a screen to another sequence that won't interfere? Thanks

Have you looked into changing the hotkey for the central kb/mouse switch? This would probably be the better solution.

HotKey Control 2.1:

Create hotkeys for volume control and more
HotKey Control is a software to create hotkeys (or single keys) for specific purposes. It's main purpose is to turn any keyboard into a Multimedia Keyboard. It can be used to change volume with On-screen or tray icon display and to play/eject audio CD's with the press of a keyboard button. For example, I used the keyboard combination Ctrl+DownArrow as a Hotkey to lower the volume, Ctrl+UpArrow as a key to increase etc. In addition, you can hide/close active windows or shutdown, restart or logoff your computer, using a similar HotKey. You can also send keystrokes which may be used for remapping the keyboard. Furthermore, you can run any program using a user defined Hotkey, even with optional command line parameters, or create Macros, like automatically typing your name or email address when you press, lets say Ctrl+A. The program is very easy to use and offers a step-by-step wizard interface.
