Brian’s irascibility was genuine, mistaken by fools who called him for it.
Near the end, facing what he faced, I had no problem understanding how fools are disturbed by and vocal about far less, why he did not suffer them, and how he faced his end so unlike fools.
He was looking it straight in the eye. The man did not blink. He took it on.
He had no time for fools.
