Hi,
the first thing is after installing RAS service reinstall the NT SP 4 or the latest version of the Service pack of nt 4.0

Give Dial in permission to the specific user Also configure the RAS port to dial in & dial out
Use any or clear text authentication at the client side.
If want to do something new, Install the RRAS " Routing & RAS" on the nt.
but after that again u have to install NT SP 4.0 or latest which u have previously installed.
If DHCP is not installed on the server then configure Static pull in the RAS or set static ip of ppp adeptor on the client pc.
good luck.

If i read that correctly - your modem didn't answer ?

The test process is lengthy I'd prove both the modems before looking to the OS.

I am not using it here but I know that there is a large company within NYC that is currently implementing it. I have heard of this app and have heard that it works very well. It worked nicely during the outbreak of the I love you virus.
We are using NAV 2k.
