Yes! A free product developed by AT&T's european group called VNC. It can be run as a service so you can reboot remotely then log back in. Virtually anything you can do at the console you can do remotely with vnc.
If you want the full blown package I will be glad to email it to you or you can search for vnc on yahoo.

Try ComputerAssociates' ControlIT. It is a good one which I have been using to remotely control, monitor, file transfer between NT servers and your remote PC. Remote PC can be NT Workstation, W2K Professional, or WIN98. Can use IP & IPX protocols, Internet connection thru modem, cable modem or DSL.

CA has their site which you can download and test_drive the software.

Hope this helps

Hi Maurice

There are quite a few tools available to assist in remote admin of your NT servers, some freeware and some at a price.

VNC is the most attractive as it is freeware. The software allows a remote console to a server/workstaion runningthe VNC service.

Windows NetMeeting is free and also provides a console to a remote system. It seems a lot smoother than VNC, but you have to have netmeeting installed on all your systems.

Alternatively, you can try Timbukto Pro which provides improved operation and increased functionality, but comes at a price.

Check them out at
www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/
www.netopia.com/software/products/tb2/ &
www.microsoft.com/windows/NetMeeting/Features/RDS/default.ASP

Good luck.

Take a look at Funk Software's Proxy product. www.funk.com

Install the host agent service on the machines you want to remote control.
