Remote Assistance

By cirvin ·
When trying to get IE from running on client machines, how can you get it to stop launching from help, and how can you stop Remote Assistance from running.

Here's how

You can use group policy to restrict which programs can run from help. MS32INFO.EXE is a good one, for example. It is located in:

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System. The GPO to configure is "Prevent these programs from being launced from Help".

You can put in iexplore.exe to restrice IE from running. You can disable the Remote Desktop Help Session Manager in Services to stop remote assistance/desktop.

Hope this helps.
