Remote Assistance Program?

By tkadenhe ·
Hi Everyone
Im looking for a remote assistance software which is almost identical to Windows Remote Assistance.I'm in IT support and have looked at many but so far nothing is coming close to windows remote assistance.I want a user to be able to send a invitation via e-mail,and i dont want to have to install software on the clients pc.The connection must be established over the internet.I dont want to support any local (LAN) users, all are remote users belonging to different companies.Does anyone have any programs in mind???

Thanks in advance.

How about TightVnc....

Yes the customer will have to add on a small/light program but that is it, from there you can have all the access that you want.

My favorite is UltraVNC

by robo_dev In reply to Remote Assistance Program ...

UltraVNC has a 'Single Click' app that allows user access without installing anything, or the full-blown app which works very well. Personally I use uVNC on all my PCs at home as well as for my security DVR. Since there is an iPhone app for VNC, (Mocha VNC), I can do anything on my home network on my phone.

Hi you can try logmein or even teamviewer - teamviewer has a standalone non install option as well.

Just went through this..

Check out http://join.me - The end user has to go to the site and click "Share" and give you/email you the number which is a little inconvenient in a support role but it isn't too hard to walk them through it over the phone.
