remote boot windows XP

at the moment the network i used is a remote boot network using a basic image of windows 95 and the servers are linux, it pulls the image from the server. we need to go to xp by september. we would like to keep the same sort of system. by the image being download by the network. also the test we have done is it is trying to using active directory and we use ldap and would like to use this and not be tried too using active directory.
