Remote Call Procedure shutdown XP

I am running XP on a pentium ii laptop for my boss and using tiscali as the internet provider. when connected to the net – after about 10 minutes – XP gets shutdown with the message Remote Call Procedure shutdown – NT client request. I have made a few tweeks and it did not happen today but what causes this message?
