heres a big one, one desktop PC with XP PRO, which has 2 external drives on it, the desktop is never really used, its in the basement. I use my laptop with VISTA, i have full access to my 2 external hard drives! my problem is, say i start WINAMP on the desktop from my laptop, music will play through my laptop, which isnt exactly what i want, my amplified speaker (which are in the livingroom)are pluged into the desktop! if i start winamp from the desktop, start a song, sound comes out of the speakers like I want! now what i want to do, is be able to start WINAMP on the desktop from the laptop, and still have the music playing from the desktop!
complicated huh, anybody have anyclues as to not have to go downstairs and start up WINAMP from the PC!
anyhelp will be greatly appriciated!
