I run a terminal environment with both XP and Vista clients. ONLY my vista clients get the “UNKNOWN” error in Outlook and also, I can’t access the hyperlinks to TechRepublic while connected remotely (web page unavailable) but I get hyperlinks from other emails. I have tried everything MS said, un-installing outlook, re-installing, creating new user profiles, repair ost’s….NO Avail – the Vista clients work once or 2x and crap out. If I detect and repair, it works once, then fails. It works OK locally but not remotely! I don’t think Microsoft has an answer but I am sure they are aware of the problem.
