I’m a home user and “Admin” of my family’s six machines running Win XP Home. As we travel a lot, I was wondering what FREEWARE options I have for connecting to remote systems across the internet and hardware firewalls, primarily for maintenance and support. I have found the VNC or its variants are best for remote control within the network (behind the firewall). What free services would you recommend for accessing systems behind firewalls?
