Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) reboots target computer

By kbk7 ·
I have a Windows XP w/SP2 machine that reboots as soon as I connect/login to it via RDP. A few event viewer errors do show, but I do not know if either of these are even causing this.

Event 1807
The Security Center service has been stopped. It was prevented from running by a software group policy.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Event 257
VirusScan Enterprise: Would be blocked by behaviour blocking rule (rule is currently in warn mode) (warn only mode!).(from MISLC846860 IP 10.xxx.xxx.xx user SYSTEM running VirusScan Enter 8.0 OAS)
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Has anyone have seen this before?

Then try out the info on my earlier post.

If it does not work or it does the same IE: rebooting the server, then i will have to see if there is another way of solving the problem.
I do not know if this will help. In your bios, in the section where it states "wake on lan" is this activated if so mark it "disable". And try it out.
