REMOTE LOG OFF OF PC's

By a31modela ·
I have over 600 remote workstations running WIN2K on a NT 4.0 network that I need to forcebly log off at nite. Users are leaving pcs up for months at a time. Only want to log them off, not shutdown & restart (creates another issue).Tried setting logon hrs but that doesnt force a log off. Nothing in NT or 2K RES Kit either. Any ideas??

the NT Server resource Kit has a program called logoff.exe. You could schedule the program to run at specified time each night
(Coresponding to the logon hours).

Use a one-time logon script,or whatever else you want to use to schedule it on the remote workstations.
