Remote Shut Down/Log off

By sjewana ·
I want to shut down all my coputers on the network remotely. While sitting on the advance server 2000 i try to manage the remotely system. But there is always RPC probelm message. I have installed DNS.
Please point out to me how i can remotely control my network systems. How can i run RPC(Remote Procedure Call). Because this is the main error message.
Help me by e-mailing all materials related to this problem in detail.

Remote Shut Down/Log off

Goto and download the Dameware NT Utils. If you run a NT\2K network it really is the best set of network \ domain management tools I have used, You get a 30 day trial but I found after 3 days I had put an order through to purchase licences for it and am not sure how we coped without it, You can manage Servers, Users & W\s (NT & 2k) plus limited control on Win9x.
If you want something for free there is always VNC. This is a PC Anywhere style remote control tool bit slow on refresh and mouse control and slows host machines up quite a bit 50%+ CPU utilization in some cases when active.
