Overview:
I have close to 100 NHS surgeries in which I want to use SMS to provide remote Admin/Support, I have deployed SMS 1.2 which is sitting on the NHS surgeries NT servers, this utilises SQL 6.5 to hold data in relation to all workstations within each practice. (Workstations are Win95/98/NT4)
I can connect to each of the surgeries SMS database and view hardware etc, so SMS works to a certain degree, I have also altered SMS.ini and Domain.ini to use IP as the default protocol on my servers as well as the surgeries servers and I connect to them through the use of a router which is attached to the NHS NET.
Problem:
I cannot get the Helpdesk portion of SMS to connect to the other servers and clients, everytime I hit the Helpdesk icon within SMS the app just closes without going any further.
If you need any other info I will be pleased to give it, any and all advice/solutions will be greatly appreciated.
