remote viewer/performance

I am running a DOS program on a WIN 98 Machine. When running this program in full screen mode it works perfect, however I am unable to remote into the computer with PcAnywhere or Radmin and see the screen. If I run the program not in full screen mode then I can use either one of these programs to view the screen, however my program is very slow and sluggish. I need 1 or 2 solutions: 1. Another application that will allow for remote access/viewing/control of this Win 98 computer to control the DOS program and 2. How can I make this program work just as well in the Non full screen mode as it does in the full screen mode.
