I need the sequential details of how a remote VPN session occurs. It would start something like this..1) the laptop dials a local POP (ISP) tele num and is asked for a password, 2)a PPP connection is granted from the ISP to the laptop, 3) the VPN(??) software then ????, etc. etc.. I am looking for details on how the whole connection process goes including, authenticating through a PKI and creating the tunnel including the cryptography. All the back and forth communication until the user has access to the corporate server. Have lots of info/sites already but need the communication/negotiation details to put it all together. Abbrv are okay.
