Remote Web Connection frequent connection loss

I work in Nigeria but connect to remote terminal server in the UK using the microsoft remote web connection. but i get disconnect just to often(7 times in 1 hour) from the terminal server with the message “Attempting to reconnect”.After reconection all information you had will be gone. I have a 256/64 VSAT link that seem very fast with normal surfing. Any suggetions to solving this will be appreciated.
