Remotely Manage Devices

By ask_anurag ·
Hi,

I have two questions I have 100 Windows XP and Windows 2000 PCs and to manage these PCs I have installed TightVNC software but everytime users change the password.

Q1. Is there any way I can change TightVNC password remotely and also hide it from so that no one knows I accessed the PC.

Q2. Is there any way I can disable Devices like USB, Sound Card remotely.

I would appreciate if someone assist me on it.

Thanks and Regards.

Anurag.

No idea on Question 1.

Question 2 can be accomplished with Group Policy Object settings and Computer Management options.

HI,

Thanks for your reply but I would like to know that is there any way we can disable sound card remotely for some particular users.

For ex. domain/a can use sound card but domain/b can't use it.

Is there any way we can do it or through some script.

Can we assign permission on sound card device to some particular users.

Thanks.
Anurag.
