Remotely removing Programs

By BigBertha ·
Does anyone out there know of a downloadable product or utility that allows remote removal of programs or applications over a network? I am looking for something that interacts with the windows add/remove feature.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Never tried but

I am told that Microsoft's SMS will do this. You do need an SMS server.

Try VNC... It's an open source (read FREE) package allowing remote control of the desktop. Once you sieze control of it, just remove the package as though you were there in front of the system.

Don't recall the url, try a search for WinVNC
or Virtual Network Connection...

Remote removal of programs

by BigBertha In reply to VNC

I know about SMS and VNC, but the problem I have is that I do not wish to install an application onto client machines nor do I wish to configure an SMS sever.

I realise that I may be asking too much, but if anyone knows of such a utility pleaselet me know. I am looking for an network admin tool such as Hyenna, but with the added functionality to be able to uninstall software remotely.

Please Help!!!!
