Removal of Sparse Points

Dear Sir/Madam,
We have some textfiles , vb6.0 forms with attributes set to -Z -P in a W2000 Machine. These files are restored from a Tape drive. Where Z Refers to Reparse Point and P Refers to Pre Migration File.Since because of this we could not able to open the same.It says “InCorrect Function” While opening a Text File and “Path File Access Error ” While Opening a VB Form.When we See the Attributes of these file using RSDir , it Clearly Shows that the Files that have these attributes ie -Zand -P are cannot be opened.We Failed after trying to Remove these attribs from the File.

Please advice me at the earliest in solving this issue.
