Remove a domain Trust

I inherited a network that has not been managed properly. On my DC’s I get 5719 errors relating to not being able to contact a DC from a Domain. The domain in question has a trust created to it but the domain was taken down but the trust was not broken first. When I try to remove the trust the Remove button is grayed out. How can I remove this trust? Thanks.
