    Remove ActiveX

    Dear sir/madam,

    I like remove old unwanted ActiveX controls from Internet Explorer 6.0/5.5(Windows ME). I know some software is commercial available for the purpose. But, how can I do it manually?

      You will need to unregister the activex control (i.e. something.ocx) with the commandline:

      Regsvr32.exe /u something.ocx

      After unregistering you can delete the control from your hard drive.
