    remove fedora

    when i installed fedora 9 by mistakely i removed all my partion from the hard disk and nw i want to remove tis unix operating system and want to install windows xp plz help

        During the install process, windows offers an oppotunity to repartition the hard drive. Use this to remove any partitions linux set up then add a partition to install windows to. If windows has trouble booting afterwards, linux may have installed lilo or grub to the master boot record. In this case, you will need to get to a command prompt (console) and use fdisk /mbr to rewrite the master boot record.

      I agree with the above posters, fdisk /mbr
      reload Windows.
