I have an Asus netbook. I had Windows XP and Ubuntu installed – each on a separate partition. After deciding I no longer needed Ubuntu – I reformatted the partition to NTFS. Now when I attempt to boot, I get the following message:
“GRUB loading, please wait…
Error 17”
Obviously I removed Ubuntu the wrong way 🙁
I’ve been trying to get back into Windows for days now with no avail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
