Remove Linux from dual boot and pc

By Casemaker ·
Hi,
I have a sony laptop that has LILO Boot Menu installed. It will boot to Mandrake Linux or Windows ME. I need to remove the LILO and Linux and have it boot straight into ME.

I suggest you back up to another drive anything you absolutely must save from the ME partition first. Then navigate to http://www.aboutdebian.com/dualboot2.htm
and scroll down to the section "Using FDISK on Windows 98" and follow its instructions.

Be certain to read all of the instructions, including the "CAUTION", before attempting anything.

back up your things first and boot from 98 bootdisk use command fdisk/mbr it will remove your Lilo from MBR.

Though check on net for further details: http://www.aboutdebian.com/dualboot2.htm, http://www.windowsreinstall.com/, www.winguides.com, www.redhat.com

Good Luck.
