I upgraded to W7 from vista. I have vista on the c: drive and W7 on E: drive. I want to remove vista entirely in case of hard drive failure I can simply transfer recovery to the other working drive (At this point I need both drives working, 1 for boot and 1 for operating). I followed the procedure from TR Dojo but copying the boot folder from vista to W7 I found a boot folder in W7 already, this step did not make sense to me. If I try to format C: to see if it would work (I have a image to recover from) windows would not aloow the format.
WhatToDo??
