Removing attachments from Outlook Calendar items

By robert.laterra.ctr ·
We have limited space on our Exchange servers for user data. End users regularly need to move e-mail to .PSTs, but many have a large number of attachments assocaited with calendar items. Is there an easy way to remove them? We're on Outlook 2003. Details are appreciated as this will be used for end-user training. Thanks.

You could archive them

by ThumbsUp2 In reply to Removing attachments from ...

You COULD use the archive feature (even auto-archive) to remove old items from server into a local archive PST file. Even folders on the server can be archived. It's not just for the local PST files.

AutoArchive not enough

by robert.laterra.ctr In reply to You could archive them

While autoArchive will work to some extent, we're looking for a manual process to allow users to find meeting requests with attachments, remove and store the attachments where they like and delete the attachment from the meeting, saving space on the server. Any more suggestions? Thanks.
