Removing multiple OS's

I have Windows2000 installed and Windows98 as a dual boot. I wanted to know how to safetly remove 98 or even 2000. I experamented on another machine and deleted the Winnt folder and it still comes up when I boot up. Any sugestions??

To remove Win2K,use a Windowss 98 startup disk and at the command prompt type SYS C:
reboot computer.

Try removing the ARC path from Boot.ini that points to the partition/folder that Win2K was installed on. If Boot.ini doesn't know of the OS, then you can't boot to it.
