Removing NT4

Removing NT4
I have a laptop that someone tried to remove nt 4 from. When I do fdisk I can only see 1 partition and it said it is 5.3 gig with 56% useage. This laptop has a 10 gig hard drive on it. It will let me go to the c: but I cant look in itto see any files. I want to install windows 98 on this system but it wont allow me to. I would like to see if I have partition I cant see on this drive, and if I could remove them.
