I recently upgraded my platform from WinMe to XP Home.Along with my upgrade came this annoying McAfee AntiVirus “upgrade Now” window;that continually comes up when I log on or change websites.I have tried to remove McAfee from my computer by deleting it from the add/remove section in my control panel . I have not been sucessful.Is there somewhere else I can look for this file.When I bought my computer a few years ago McAfee AntiVirus came installed and I instead used NAV and have continued to use NAV until recently.I have uninstalled my NAV and have been using AVG shareware;( I had a subscription issue with Symantec and decided not to use the product). SO;I now have AVG running(trial version) and McAfee keeps showing up inviting me to renew my subscription with them.What a tangle?
