Removing/Replacing Terminal Messages produced by signals in C

by martinbullock15 . Updated 17 years, 4 months ago

Hi

I am writing a C program, and using

kill(0,SIGTERM);

at the end of the program to make sure all other processes accociated with the program are terminated once the program is closed. But terminal outputs “Terminated” on to the screen, i also tried to use SIGKILL instead but that outputs “Killed” onto the terminal screen.

Is there anyway of turning off these message outputs to the terminal screen?

Thanks in advance

Martin
