Removing something from Start-up

by andrew caple . Updated 17 years, 10 months ago

Hello,

I was hoping that someone might be able to help me. We’re about to upgrade our intranet to a new location. For example: http:\\intranet to http:\\sharepoint

However, when we created the old XP image a static shortcut was created under start-up (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup).

As well has adding a DNS entry to new location I was hoping that there might be a way to remove the shortcut without connecting to all of the computers on the domain and deleting it manually?

I can get an export of all the computers in the domain from AD, but I?m not big on scripts so if someone has an example it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Andrew
