If you are talking about the boot splash screen on a Windows 9X machine, the file name is logo.sys, and it should be in the root directory of your boot drive.

There are 2 other logo' files that splash at shutdown. These are logos and logow, and are located in the Windows folder.

If you can't find the files, check your Windows Explorer view settings. Make sure that hide system files, and hide extensions for known file types are not checked. Or, that view all files is checked.
