I upgraded Windows home edition to Windows Vista business. In the process Windows backed-up the old windows installation into the c:\windows.old folder with all the previously installed programs compacted into 20GB of space. I want to reclaim this space by deleting this folder, but I get a “Permissions denied” message. How do I get this wasted space back into good use?
