Removing WinMessenger 4.7.3000

Hiya,
Does anyone know how to remove Windows Messenger 4.7.3000 – or the location of the download files …

Windows XPSP2 was installed from a downloaded file, and automatically upgraded WinMsgr to 4.7.3000 .. I now need to remove this application and re-install WinMsgr4.7.2009 which handles VoIP(UDP)

Grateful for any help you are able to offer … I’m bouncing my head off the brick wall here
