Recently I had both xp pro and xp home installed. Now I have deleted the xp pro version but the option to choose it during startup remains. How do I remove it.
Should I manually edit the boot file and remove the following;
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS=”Microsoft Windows XP Professional” /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
If so, is it safe doing it?
