I’ve got a computer on my network named after a former employee. When i set it up, i somehow missed it, and now my boss gets mad every time she sees the name lol. So i need to know if i can rename that pc w/o the new girl losing all her work. Is it just a matter of migrating that ‘documents and settings’ folder over after the rename or am i thinking about this in the wrong way? Ideally it would be something i could do from the server w/o having to interrupt her at all.
