Renaming admin account effects on applic

I renamed the administrator account of our domain and disabled the the administrator account. when i log on the server using the renamed account it “says incorrect password or unknown password for \\server name\application” You last connected to this computer as Server name\administrator. When i put in a password it comes bck saying incorrect password or user name. When i delet it and log in I can not even open the backup exec and other application folders. Any idea how to solve this????
