Our organization wanted that all of its employee should insert their messenger Ids in Global Address List. I being an exchange administrator, thought of using fax, assistant field in Phone/notes tab of GAL to include Yahoo Id and AOL id.So that all our company users can insert their messenger Ids in their address book using galmod32.exe application.
So I started the exchange server in raw mode,I renamed fax and assistnace field. I open several mailboxes from GAB and found that, itindeed shows Yahoo Id and AOL Id instead of fax and assistance. But when I used Galmod32.exe to edit the field, it showed fax and assistance. 🙁
Am I missing anything here?
