Repair Hardisk

I look in some service shops having repaired hardisk which be problems as: Not recognized by auto detect, bad sector, recovery data,... How do they done? By which sofware or by others tools for done this? Please help me. Many thanks.

There are software tools for data recovery (ie, Norton Disk Doctor, etc.) there are also hardware tools for data recovery (EZ Gig, etc.). If you have another drive of the same model and you suspect that the drive is okay, but the logic board may have fried, then sometimes you can get the drive working by swapping the board from a working hdd as well. It all depends on what the problem is.

If the problem is at the boot sector of a computer, you can sometimes bypass the problem by placing it as a secondary drive in another computer and bypassing that boot andrecover data that way too. Again it all depends on what the problem is and where it is on the hdd.

The best choice is to dispose of a flakey drive, its just future problems.
