I have an issue where ever since my IT manager changed our SMTP server to require authentication my .pst file appears to be corrupted. Outlook started to prompt me to run the Inbox repair tool, which did help to some extent, but did not repair all problems. I seem to have lost the ability to move or copy any e-mails from 1 folder to another. I get a message that states “Can’t move the items. Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.” and that’s all I get. The”Detect and Repair” option does not help either. Does anyone have any ideas, other repair utilities, etc.?? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
