Can I take a 2GB hard drive currently partitioned in 2 partitions 1GB each and make it one 2gb drive without reformatting?

Sure. You need a tool like Partition Magic. See http://www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic/

If you are running Win NT 4.0 and the drives contain NO DATA OR FILES, you can use the Disk Administrator under Administration Tools.

If this is a Win 9x then you will have to use a tool such as Partition Magic (highly recommended) with a lot of free space.

Good Luck!
