replace Floppy Drive in the Industreal machines

at least in syria we have lots of old Industrial machines controlled by an old computer system usually with floppy drive or card reader.

how to replace this floppy drive with a new technology like flash or CD Drive

then you can do it. If the machine is DOS based, you'll need DOS drivers to initialize the device and the MSCDEX.EXE file to map a drive letter to the CD ROM. What kind of hardware are you talking about? IBM 286, 386, 486, Pentium 1, etc?
